Condition Analysis of Spreading Rolls
With effective, preventive monitoring, unexpected breaks that have an impact on the productivity and weaken quality can be minimized and critical parts can be repaired during planned standstill before they cause problems.
PR Rolls determines the condition and function of the rolls and plans necessary procedures with the help of a condition analysis based on precise measurement. With measurements, it is possible to recognize speed differences between the rolls and the paper web, temperature differences
between the bearing parts of the shell and the rest of the shell the functionality of the end sealing as well as roll vibration levels and possible bearing damages.
Measurements performed during machine run have no impact on
the production.

We also offer real-time, webbased roll monitoring which enables the changing of critical parts exactly at the right time with a minimum impact on
production.
The measurement related to the monitoring and operation control of spreading rolls includes the following:
